Hello Everyone - remember me? my name is jason and I play in a band called the nadas. I can’t remember the last time I wrote one of these correspondences. I don’t know why haven’t for so long, other than our faithful dr. uetz has been doing such a good job for so long, that and my fingers were tired from typing them weekly for nearly a decade before. we are giving the good doctor the week off so that he can fully immerse himself in his pending nuptials which are taking place this weekend. we would liike to take this opportunity to publicly proclaim our congratulations to the future dr. and mrs. tyler uetz. It has been a long time coming, i believe they are just squeaking by before officially being considered common law. you kids make such a cute couple.

While on the subject of congratulations . . . . 3 cheers for our newest authentic records label mates fat andy, for the successful release of their new record “motel bottle rocket” which came out last week and is available here . . . . We have a long history with these guys particularly with there front man will petersen, who wasted 3 of the best years in his life as our tour manager babysitting us on the hard and unforgiving road.

Also . . . 3 more cheers for the josh davis band who this week released their 3 1/2 release for authentic records entitled “get awesome” the new record is available here . . . the jdb will be celebrating with a CD release party this friday at peoples in des moines. We will be there to show our support and to . . . . . get awesome.

Thursday 10/2 (tonight) - I will be opening solo for garrison star at the Temple for the performing arts. we are big fans of garrison star’s and it is an honor to be playing with her tonight. Show starts at 7:30.

Sunday 10/5 - mike solo at ak o’conner’s in beaverdale for the nada nother sunday series. rodney parker is also on the bill.

P.S. - the peoples tickets are on sale at iowatix.com i would recommend getting them early for 2 reasons, they are cheaper and we have sold out the past couple of times we played there. yay us!  yay you! we are limiting the number of tickets for you this time so it is more comfortable. P.P.S. - We finally replaced the eagle that was stolen from the front of meatloaf. . . . i know some of your were worried about that.
