Tour update, Almanac pre-order, final residency at the Vaudeville Mews. . . . .
Hey Folks  – Jason here. It has been a while since we’ve sent the weekly blah blah. We have been laying a little low these past 2 months. Getting ready to release a record and drive several thousand miles takes some preparation. We have been repairing gear, resting vocal chords, putting together new wardrobes and I personally have been doing at least 10 sit-ups a day. Okay that last part was a stretch, but twiddling thumbs has some fitness benefit doesn’t it?

So here is the big news. . . . our tour is almost completely confirmed. We are waiting on a few more shows to confirm that look like they are going to be in Brooklyn, Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis. Maybe a couple more in the southeast. We have most of them posted on our  TOUR PAGE. Or better yet visit the event section on our FACEBOOK fan page. The best part about the Facebook tour schedule is that you can RSVP, and you can invite all of your friends on facebook. If enough people do that it creates a buzz and really gets people out to our show. You know how we like it when you do all the work for us.

The official release for Almanac is March 2nd (next tuesday). We thought it might be nice to give our loyal email list a jump on the orders so you will get it before everyone else. So if you would like to get our new record Almanac a week early sign up for our weekly email in the box on the right side of the screen. I know we have been releasing one track at a time all last year, but I can’t explain to you how excited I am to have the entire project completed in your hands and ears. I am excited to tour the country and see you singing along. I know some of you might be waiting for the digital release, but then you will miss out on all the beautiful artwork that Lindsey has done to cradle the record. Plus we decided that for this week of pre orders we would sign the record for anyone who asks us to. If you want to, you can all tell your friends to go to our website and sign up for the email list.

Last, but not least. . . . this week concludes our residency at the Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines, IA, and just when I was starting to feel comfortable. Mike was even serving drinks from behind the bar last week. Oh well, it has been a fun run and we have one more night to go. Join us tomorrow night if you can. Doors are at 6pm, show starts at 7pm. It is all ages until 9pm (when we are officially required to be done playing. We’ll see how that goes) Anyway, thanks to those of you who have joined us this month, hope to see some of you again tomorrow.

Love and fresh baked bread,
The Nadas

Question of the week – Is there a town that you don’t see on our upcoming tour dates that you think we should play, if so . . . what venue?
