Hey Nadas fans, Mike here.

This fall’s Rock the Rails tour is all done, like a caboose receding down the tracks into the sunset with Jason and I left on the platform alternately waving our handkerchiefs and using them to blot the tears from our eyes. A huge thanks to all of our hosts and hostesses along with Jessica from the Greater Des Moines Partnership who not only rode along, but also made all the travel plans.

This just in: We are doing it again!

I would like to once again recommend train travel to y’all. It is delightful in every way. Can’t wait till next year’s tour to explore some more.

This weekend we have a two shows in Des Moines—We are playing at Reggie’s Sleepout on Saturday. Held at the Drake Stadium, this event is an incredible opportunity to raise awareness for homeless youth. The show is free and open to all ages. We play at 3 pm.

Later on in the day, we will be playing at the Iowa Health Systems and YMCA Healthy Halloween in Waukee. This show will be a fun, Bright Eyed & Bushy Tailed kids show at 7:30 pm. It’s free to get in so bring the kids you know and we’ll see you at the Waukee YMCA!

Next weekend we are back on the road to Colorado. On November 4, we are playing at the beautiful Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO. Tickets are available via Tikly! http://tikly.co/the-nadas-at-the-bluebird-theater.html Be sure to buy ahead, truly save some money, and we’ll see you in Denver! The next morning, we are having a Bright Eyed & Bushy Tailed CD party at the Miners Alley Playhouse in Golden, CO. Tickets are $10.00 each, children 2 and under get in free. Those tickets are also available via Tikly. http://tikly.co/bebt-acousticalley.html

If you want more Nada and live in Colorado, we are leaving Jason there for a couple solo shows in both Steamboat and Aspen. More details to come.

Love and Halloween candy,

The Nadas

  1. Thanks for the wise analysis. Me & my neighbour have been making ready to do a little analysis about that. We obtained a excellent ebook on that matter from our local library along with most books where not as influensive as your information. I’m enormously glad to see such style of data which I was searching for a protracted time. This made extraordinarily glad! Anyway, in my language, there aren’t a lot good source like this.

  2. Perfectly composed articles, thanks for entropy. “Necessity is the mother of taking chances.” by Mark Twain.

  3. This is the right blog for anyone who wants to find out about this topic. You realize so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just great!

  4. What you typed made a ton of sense. However, what about this? suppose you wrote a catchier post title? I am not saying your information isn’t solid, but what if you added a title that grabbed a person’s attention? I mean Blah Blah #102811 The Nadas Blog Blog is a little plain. You could peek at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create article titles to grab people to open the links. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to grab people excited about everything’ve written. Just my opinion, it would make your posts a little bit more interesting.

  5. Is there anywhere else I can get information about this? I’m thinking I might write my term paper on it.

  6. How come you do not have your web site viewable in mobile format? cant see anything in my netbook.

  7. Woah! I’m truly digging the actual template/theme on this site. It’s easy, nevertheless efficient. Very often it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between functionality along with overall look. I must say you’ve carried out a superb work using this. Furthermore, your blog loads extremely swift for me personally about Opera. Outstanding Weblog!
