Well, in the spirit of the holidays I will use this blog post as an opportunity to give you all a present. We (the nadas) have one Christmas song called here comes Christmas. People are always asking if I worry about giving music away or people passing mp3s around to their friends and not getting the sales. And honestly sales aren’t as good as they used to be. When was the last time you bought a physical copy of a CD or Record. But the truth is, we just want the music out there. We want every person possible to hear one of our songs, and hope that the song they hear is one that they like, identify with, or that moves them in a way that they become a fan. Because if they become a fan, they are a fan for life. And when they become a fan, or more appropriately a part of our community, they realize that by buying records, tickets, t-shirts, they are supporting us. They are putting roofs over our heads, food on the table and fuel in our tank which allows us to hit the road and play shows. It allows us to write, record and release more music. Our fans are what allow us to do this. The more fans, the longer we can make music. So please, download our music. Listen to it, if you like it, share it with a friend. Pass that link around. Hopefully you will become a fan.
