Just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy new year. We hope 2009 brings you much happiness and prosperity. Thank you for your continued support of our band and career. Snow Days & NYE
Hello Friends of The Nadas. Jason here writing you this weekly email. It will probably sit in your inbox waiting to be read until possibly after christmas because at least those of you in the Midwest are probably home buried in snow and ice. These are the days we dreamed about all winter long as kids. No school, extra day for the holiday break, sledding, snowballs, hot chocolate. We, The Nadas, are off for a bit gearing up for our big NYE show in Evergreen, CO at the legendary Little Bear. This is one worth road tripping for folks. Call ahead to get tickets, it may already be sold out. We are just starting to add some dates for 2009, so check the website soon, and often.

Last Minute Holiday Shopping
Tomorrow is the last day to pick up some items from Authentic Records for Christmas gifts using standard shipping (btw, I haven’t bought a single christmas present yet!)  I’m Back!

Hello Nadas Nation! LB here. I know. You’re probably asking yourself, “Didn’t she say she was leaving to move to Seattle?” Yes. I did leave Des Moines, but I could never leave The Nadas or Authentic Records! Never. I would miss it all too horribly. That said I’m back! Well, at least digitally. But I will be back in town just in time to sell merch at the New Year’s Eve show at the Little Bear in Evergreen, CO, which I have to say I am uber excited for. It’s never a dull moment at the Little Bear, so I’m sure we’ll be in for a few surprises this New Year’s Eve.

Nada Silent Night VI

Anyways, Jason asked if I could step in write the Blah Blah this week since him, Mike and a whole lot of other amazing people are getting everything ready for Nada Silent Night VI. I have to admit I am very, VERY sadden by the fact I am missing out this year. I mean, Nada Silent Night is always a blast but this year our good friends The Damnwells are playing! If you’ve never heard of them and already have your tickets to the show at Hoyt Sherman, you’re in for quite the treat. If you haven’t heard of them and don’t have your tickets, get on it already! In all honesty, you really can’t beat a lineup like that folks AND you’ll be donating to a good cause. As always, the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots of Central Iowa will be collecting unopened, new toys. So don’t forget! Purchase your tickets at the Hoyt Sherman box office, bring it to Hoyt Sherman on December 5th along with an unopened toy and enjoy the show!

Live in the Sioux City, IA area? You do? Great! Gather your friends, family and maybe even some stragglers from the street and take them to The Chesterfield tonight, Saturday, November 22. The guys will be there to rock your faces off along with fellow Authentic Records label mates Fat Andy. These guys just released an album, Motel Bottle Rocket, in September. Definitely worth checking out.
